Lands End to John O'Groats

Post by Singe »

I think it was Alan who asked for a link for when I start my sponsored walk from Land End to John O'Graos. I just can't find the thread it was posted on so I've started a new one.
If anyone's interested, I arrived in UK a week ago and St Helens yesterday. I catch the early morning train to Penzance tomorrow and start walking Wednesday from Lizard Point (most southerly point).

The tracking page is

https://trackme.kiwi/event/unlistedview ... d8uw-oIIYw

The vlog will be on

https://www.youtube.com/@niallmccormack-teararoa

and, of course, if anyone wants to slip a tenner on the donation page, I won't say no.

Getting bloody nervous now....

Sorry Singe we are not back in time to see you in Cornwall. You are taking the scenic route, not the shortest or easiest but definitely the best.
I'm in dispute with British Gas and the Ombudsman has found in my favour. The compensation is no where near what I claimed but I'll forward it to your charity as soon as it comes through. Good luck with the walk and stay clear of injury.

Thanks Bert, incredibly generous! At Perranporth at the moment, 6 days after Lizard and 3 after Land’s End. Beautiful down here.

Update, now at Bude. Last two days were very wet but today beautiful. The coastal track around here is amazing.

Well done Singe, that's a mighty impressive walk. Great cause though, you should be thoroughly proud of yourself!

Thanks Monica, it’s been very enjoyable, though got a little hot today in Lockerbie!
