Disappearing posts

Post by ellie ellins »

I have written three thoughtful posts this morning. Took me ages and every single time I submit, I look and they have disappeared. I happened yesterday too. Anyone else gettng this? So I have stopped writing anything that needs me to consider things. Is it a timer?

I'm sorry this is happening. It's done the same to me a few times too. Sometimes if I click the browser back button I can rescue a post, but then there are times when that doesn't work.

It's like a quandary or a dilemma where I could change the domain to being ordinary by removing Cloudflare. It will likely be the Cloudflare security that is causing the issue. However, if it is removed then we'll be back to about 30 new bot members joining every day, posting spam, and the hosts complaining about the heavy traffic.

For the moment, if you can remember: before you post, highlight it all and copy to your browser's clipboard, so you can paste it back if needs be. That might save some disasters.

OK, I've just turned 'DDOS Under attack' mode off and we'll see what happens.

This might fix everything (until it doesn't).

Thanks! Thought it was just me. I will copy it before I submit in future. I think it times me out if I am messing about.

There seems to be less chance of it happening now that I've tinkered with Cloudflare, but be careful anyway.

Yes it has happened to me a few times. I go to find replies next day and the post didn't get sent. I though it was just me doing something wrong.
