It does look like Springfield Lane. The church is in the right place on the right of the road in this picture compared to the view in Google Earth today. Trees are a bit taller of course!Link to Photo

This is looking south across to the Ravenhead Glass Works from the Bus stop near the Bird 'ith Hand. You can see the original Ravenhead House on the right of the picture that became the head office. The dam of course is still there!Link to Photo

Used to go there as a kid on a Saturday morning. I remember they used to turn all the lights on when the kids got too rowdy and noisy.
Also saw "The King and I" there with my mum.
