Can anyone let me know who lived here in 1921. My grandfather lived here when he got married, anyone got a photo of the house Thank you so much

Glancing at FMP and using that address, it looks as though it was a family called Erlam. That's people born between 1876 until 1920. I'm not a subscriber on FMP so I can't see any more than that.

Erlams were still there in 1939. Was your grandfather's surname Erlam?

The Erlam family were living at the same address in 1911 and 1939.

The 1911 census also shows Thomas Dixon, aged 9 years and May Dixon, aged 12 years.  They are described as Son and Daughter – presumably of the Sarah Dixon who married William Erlam at St Thomas, Eccleston on 18 October 1903.

when my grandad was injured in the pit, his address was 51 Wilson street and by 1927 he lived at 1 Croppers Hill

Repeating Dave's search shows the Hewitt family were living there at the time of the census.

Elizabeth, born 1855

Joseph, born 1853

Thomas, born 1875.
