Alan
Other than the Safari Park, is this still off-limits to the general public? When I lived in St Helens you could get a sort of day-permit to wander in it

Alan
An auntie of mine used to get us a permit from her place of work, I think she worked at the old Grove St Pilks HO
Phyll
Hi Alan, It looks like it still has other attractions besides "The Safari Park". Knowsley Hall - Wikipedia EN.WIKIPEDIA.ORG More info. Knowsley Safari Park - Wikipedia EN.WIKIPEDIA.ORG
Alan
Anyone any experience of it other than the Safari Park?
Bert
As a child I vaguely remember wandering in the woods there. I'm ashamed to say we were probably "egging". One of my "little huggers" assessment, (now in his 40's) of Bodmin Moor was, "It's like Knowsley Safari Park", when he saw the free roaming animals.
