I feel ashamed of my own pettiness. I actually cheered when I heard the Challenge Cup Round result of Featherstone 18 Halifax 22 this weekend. Why the pleasure? Well I cannot ever forget Featherstone knocking Saints out of the cup twice in early rounds in the 1950s at Post Office Road. A family friend took me to both games and even now,nearly 70 years later the disappointment lingers
