I thought so. I had a shoe-box full of old 1950s Saints programmes that I gave to a collector a few years ago. In those post-war days of austerity, the programme was simply a one-sheet affair folded to give 6 faces with half of the thing dedicated to local adverts

Yep.

When i worked in what is now social housing on corner of Tolver and Brynn st.

This was the office of st.helens water undertaking.We had later also bought the manse and DAVE had next door.

He asked me and used to come in and use our photocopier!He then let the girls go in for stuff in appreciation.

Oh such CORRUPTION AND CHUMOCRACY.YOU WOULDNT SEE THAT THESE DAYS?
