Do people still skate on the area beyond the 19 arches?

Hardly any water there now, clogged up with silt and rees and bushes growing there.

Today, there is an item anchored where the icebreaker was working. No one on board but I wonder what its for?

Looks like oxygen cylinders by the cabin and hoses. Perhaps a platform for divers !

Looks like a lifting gantry a the back end - are they going to raise something from the deep? The plug?

Cylinders look too big for SCUBA divers.

The underwater workers arrived today,

Four skin divers went to the bottom.

No Idea what they did but that barge slowly moved away afterwards towards the Boathouse.

I bet they were wearing dry suits to keep the cold out. Only trouble with dry suits is if you get caught short!

Sorry Hort, how many skin divers?

I was in Taylor park the other day, it's mainly frozen over but there are fishermen there, what are they hoping to catch, penguins?

The raft on Carr Mill Dam was raising the sluice valve to replace it. Apparently by doing it this way they will not have to drain the dam

You may be correct Alan.

They were on the raft again on Wednesday. I could not see what they were doing.

Three gas tanks there that are to big for divers I think.
