Anybody have class photos from Merton Bank School?

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have any class photos from this school that were taken between 1925 and 1935 or so? I'm lead to believe that some relations attended during that period, and would love to see what they looked like as children.

Also, does anyone know which school someone living near the Huntsman pub would have a ttended during the 30's? My St Helens geography is to poor for me to know.

Thanks in advance to anyone that can help.

schools near the huntsman in Haydock are St.Marks in park st. (now closed ) , St. Mary's Blackbrook road, ( now closed ) St.James' Church rd. ( now closed ) and one I only know as " Jaggers " its actual name slips my memory that was on Westend rd. and that is now gone. Hope that helps you in some way.

Just remembered that Jaggers school was the Richard Evans primary school

St. Mary's was catholic school and the rest were C of E, just to say that apart from the St. Mary's school the buildings of the other schools still exist but are used for other purposes.
