I thought 'Garden Walk' was the other side of the Cemetery - behind Sewell Street/off Manchester Road.

I know that this entry goes from Vicarage Place to Wood Lane; and that Wood Lane used to be known as 'The Wood' - but that particular part in the photograph eludes me completely. Thought at first it was 'Rowson's/Rowley's Walk' but think that was closer to where I'm living .

Keep tryin'. Beaky the shot is from the bottom of the entry, at Wood Lane.

While we're waiting for enlightenment, anyone know where this dated tablet is situated?

Yes - but I'm not telling bleh.gif

Back to the subject in hand - I always thought (without any evidence mind, just a theory) that the entry might have been the original Vicarage Walk & the name was later applied to the part with the houses.
