Cheers Les. Mostly looks the same as when I lived at No 52, up until 1979.

Is that Barbers at the top, where Wedgies once was?

Did nobody try to rob your camera?

94 Welsh Baptist, 92 Cof E, 90 R.C. 88 Cof E 86 Cof E.

Bloody sod it... there is a distinct difference between gentile and genteel. Sackcloth and ashes for the ex resident of number 92 :)

No, Stephen, this is on the opposite side. And you're not too young to remember, unless you had a high sided pram :)

Almost there. Think of the shop at the top of Kingsway. Also what type of farm? :)

Ward's farm, but I thought that the last family who lived there were the Habberley's, who then moved to Fazackerley Road in the 1960's when the farm was demolished.

Was it a dairy farm?

Poultry, Steve. It was owned by Derek Wedgwood. Wedgwoods were the first owners of the shop by the railway bridge. I don't recall Habberley's owning it, of course there may have been two farms, as I thought it was closed in the late 50's.

Hello Rod I remember you from my much younger days, I used to live at the bottom of Beechwood Grove and originally went to St Lukes. Is it so long ago as I remember it so well.
