Alan Posted January 24, 2019 Share #1764 Posted January 24, 2019 For many reasons, not the least of which is the fact that I was hoping to publish another social-history type of book about growing up in the early 1950s St Helens (with an emphasis on the Dentons Green and St Helens Junction areas), I hope that whoever buys Wardleworths keeps it going as a book shop

These are no more prevelant than via other online businesses. We have used the shops many times and for the price good value. We bought as an example - a boxed art set £10 marked down to £8. Art sets in other shops at least £20. It was checked and for us was excellent value fof a 7 yr old . As an example we wanted to buy some STEM activities for our young gcs in USA. Remembering they are 7 and 8 we looked online and found they were at least £15 each with good activities. So we spotted some small sets for around £5+(on offer) and yes they were only simple starters. You decide yourself over price and quality. As the law - Let the buyer beware! ALAN Why dont you offer to sell your book in a Hospice with some profit going to them?
Alan Posted January 26, 2019 Share #1770 Posted January 26, 2019 The hospice will sell it anyway and they get all the net profit wherever it's sold.
