The pitch was a quagmire and, as I was driving didn't sample any of the 26 real ales or 6 ciders. Gareth did and enjoyed them. There were more people inside the club than outside- it rained heaven's hard all the way through. The crowd only numbered 127, even with a beer festival, it seems few people follow local football. But the crowd was only 210. Come and join the fun. It's one of the few places in Prescot where Prescotians aren't outnumbered! Prescot topics are allus being debated, one of this week's__ how many gas-holders were at the gas works? The answer by concensus was 2, but it could have been three I didn't post that they were sensible topics but what the heck The gate price for coffin dodgers is £4.00. In 1957 he joined Sunderland where he made 458 appearances (second-most in the clubs history) before embarking on a 20-year managerial career.
