Simm/Simms

I'm researhing the Simm/Simms family in the St. Helens area and would like to hear from anyone with a connection, however distant. My line is William Simms b 1911, William Simms/Simm b 1885, William Simm b 1865, William Simm b 1840 and Joseph Simm b 1811. In the 1920s and 30s they lived on Silkstone Street, Devon Street, Southey Road and, I think, Mather Avenue.

Maurice.

I do not know who the people in the photographs are. I only know that they were posted by Julie Kenny (nee Simms) after she did some extensive research on her family from the Silkstone Street area of St. Helens.

If you could somehow contact her I think she would be very interested. I do not know her or her address.

There is an e-mail address on the home page of the newtown st.helens website I attached earlier. Perhaps that might be a start to find out more information.

Good luck with any future research that you do.

Hi Maurice,. I am also looking for information on the Simms family. I only know this. My mum was called Jeanette, her mother was Margaret. She had a brother called Brian. Jeans dad lived in Albion Street in the 1980s. Is there any connection or have you come across any information I could use please? Thanks, Kerry
