Michael married Marjorie Leyland 1865. Also Edward Cullen b 1844 son of Michael b Galway. Edwaerd married Marjorie Leyland. I would be interested in any families who lived in the area as I have a lot of names I have collected over my years of research to sort into family groups. I would be interested in any families who lived in the area as I have a lot of names I have collected over my years of research to sort into family groups. tierney family i think we may have a connection somewhere. i have tierneys in my family. mine stems from joseph tierney born circa 1855 married to ellen (eleanora) connolly born 1855. there children were michael, james, thomas, bridget, mary kate, nelllie and hubert i have recently received a certificate from lough rae in county galway which states that ellens parents were Martin Nevin and Bridget Nevin (bit of a mystery) james tierney married margaret mcspirit and they in turn gave birth to children, one of whom was ellen and she married my mums brother jack bebbington. would appreciate any info you can give me regards marjar Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

My father had a brother Hubert & a sister Nora. My great grandfather was a Michael & his father a James. The family story goes that they came from Co Cavan but I've no proof of this.
