bruntyed that all seems to fit, except the dates of birth, my grandmother Ann was born in 1908 and according to my mum (her daughter) she had a brother named Ralph, her dad was Thomas born about 1872, this is so frustrating, I can't seem to get passed this point with this branch of my tree I feel like I am hitting my head against a brick wall! :(

p.s. thanks anyway

There is a Thomas DAVERIN, born about 1872, on the 1901 census. He is the son of Michael (61) and Ellen (58) - both born in Ireland.

You can see the details on the surnames index which can be downloaded from this site - the index shows him as DAVERN.

I am looking for any connections to Thomas Daverin b. 1872 who married Rebecca Montgomery b. 1883, they were my gr grandparents, any info would be appreciated.

Hi. My Grandfathers brother was named Thomas Daverin and I am positive he was named after their father. My name is Rebecca and I am named after one of my great (great?) grandparents. I can get copies of my family tree from my aunt. Do you know the heritage of the last name Daverin? If it is the same as mine, then it must be the same Thomas Daverin we are related too.

Hi Rebecca! as I said in my other posts I am stuck with this one, all I know is Thomas Daverin b.1872 was married to my gr grandmother Rebecca Montgomery b.1883, Thomas' parents came from Ireland but I don't know where. Thomas and Rebecca's daughter (my grandmother) was Ann b.1908 and she married John William Woodward b.1899 they had eight children before he died in 1946, one of which is my mum Mildred Anne b.1936

If it helps Rebecca's parents were Richard Montgomery b.1849 and Emma Mann b.1867 (big age difference!) Richard was also from Ireland.
