Hello Jill,

I have links with 13 of the surnames you have listed. Several are on my direct line and several on the outer limits! I would be interested in checking the names out. You say you are on 'Genes' too, so am I. Hotmatches should have connected us by now. My E-mail address is; AppleS3350@aol.com. Please get in touch and we can share some info and see what we have that ties in.

Regards,

Sandra.

Hi Jill

Just for your records, the only ones I have interests in at the moment are:

FAIRCLOUGH and TAYLOR

Though, as I have posted extensively about them here, plus I am on Genes reunited ('Cynthia') and we haven't had any hotmatches, I doubt there is any link.

Though, as I get on and do my father-in-law's lines I will let you know if any of these surnames crop up.

Regards

Cindy

Collins would be the name I was most interested in.

Especially if you know anything about Charles born 1870 married to Bridget. I know they had a daughter Mary Ann about 1902, but nothing after that date.

I've got a bit of information about the family of Samuel & Mary Saxon, and their son John who married Jane Hughes, if those are your Saxons - they seem to have been friends of my ancestors.

Hi Chm,

I have Sarah Saxon born 1804 , married to a Ralph Langley he was born 1800, The Langleys are one of the main names I am researching, I just happened to have came across her. Her and Ralph had 10 children. One of their sons was married to Alice Welsby, at the moment I don't think your Saxons are mine, as I need to do more research . I will keep a note of your info, and get back to you . Thanks very much for taking the time to let me know.

Kind Regards Maggie

My Ann Twiss was born Haydock in c 1816 and married Charles Forshaw. Her mother was also Anne and in 1851 was a widow and farmer aged 74. I know she had a son James Twiss b c 1827. I have found the spellings Twiss and Twisse

Hi my great-great grandfather James WEBSTER was born in Eccleston in approx. 1820. His father was John but as yet I can't find out anything further. James married Ellen CRAWLEY from Prescot and his first 2 children were born in Prescot and Windle respectively. There could be a family link to Thomas or William Webster -brothers? cousins? born 1815-1818 ? Any info, anyone?

I have HARRISON's and JACKSON's in my family tree. My Harrison's are from Haydock and Parr. I have a Peers Harrison born in about 1821 in Parr.

I have lots of JACKSON's, my nana's maiden name was Jackson. I have Jackson's born in Haydock, Earlestown, Newton-le-Willows and Somerford Booths in Cheshire.

Anything here of any use?

Does anyone have anthing extra on Peers Harrison b. 1821?

Also, I have Twiss' and Forshaw's in my tree.

Regards, Kirsty.

Kirsty, I have some names you mention in your list but I noticed you haven't put them in the names interest section of the forum. Perhaps you could do this and then exchange e-mails with those who have the same interests.

Can I suggest all the others replying to this post who havent done so also add the names they have an interest in.
