    RIP Len 'Banana' Saunders

I find it hard to know what to say but i've got to do this. You'll have probably read or heard about Len Saunders who was punched for not having a cigarette in a street attack and passed away on sunday ,he was 65 years old. 2 guys remain in custody. I've been numb all day since i received an email from Ann Shacklady Smith from Lucem House and read the Star,i still can't take it in. Len has been a friend for around 5 years who always made me laugh and had time for everyone.I know lots of people say he/she was so lovely when they die but Len was,honest..wouldn't harm a fly. I seen him more regularly over these last few months than ever before mostly on Corporation St were we would have a good natter. Condolences to his family and friends and may he rest in peace. http://www.sthelensstar.co.uk/news/15444390.Tributes_paid_to_friendly_performer_and_poet___39_Len_Banana__39_/ Len in the Pale Boy play by Robbob 2010, on Flickr Len in the Pale Boy play by Robbob 2010, on Flickr Len in the Pale Boy play by Robbob 2010, on Flickr Len in the Pale Boy play by Robbob 2010, on Flickr Len at the Onesie Walk by Robbob 2010, on Flickr Len in the Mansion House Gardens by Robbob 2010, on Flickr Len at the Onesie Walk by Robbob 2010, on Flickr Christmas Fayre at Mansion House by Robbob 2010, on Flickr added 7 minutes later I hope and pray the bastards get it!

    Len 'Banana' Day

I've been in high demand the last few days starting with the Len Banana Day at Lucem House. Taken on Thursday and also it would of been his 66th Birthday. They all did a wonderful show celebrating the life and work of a much loved poet Len Saunders.
