It was about '62 when I worked at Beechams but I was only there a short time so have no memories of anyone there except a couple of other young girls who lived near me. It was that time when you could leave a job one day and start somewhere else within a day or two. I worked at PIlks (twice) Beechams, Stamina, BICC Prescot, Lennons and so many others places1 point

I worked there in the 60s the powder came out of a hopper and two girls used to fold alternating sides if one couldnt keep up they used to put a fingernail through the teflon on the little chute thing and I used to have to replace it they got a five min break while it was being done1 point
