Article in the Times today about the RL game in Las Vegas tonight. Any comments?

I watched some of it last night and the rest this morning. A great spectacle that may very well catch the American imagination. Certainly a far better spectacle than their own well-padded and helmeted version

I'm glad that it did not end 40 Nil as that would have done nothing to promote the game.

Is there anything positive to come out of the ladies match? Massive gap to be closed, somehow.

Nothing, it was a debacle. ..........sadly!

Wigan have perfected the "lift & carry" into touch or over the dead ball line and IMHO believe this was the reason for their success last season. If the opposing player with the ball, is within 10 to 15 yards of a line the "carry" will create a turnover and Wigan will regain possession. Other top teams try this tactic but not as often and I believe Wigan must practice the technique continuously. If other teams do not adapt then the Cherry & White will win all again this season.
