An odd habit

Every couple of weeks or so I wake up with an old tune in my head, usually something from The Billy Cotton Band Show from the 1950s radio or an old hymn or carol. It then plagues me until I Google it to get the full lyrics. This morning's was "I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts". Anyone else suffer likewise?

This morning's song was an old Geordie one, "Cushie Butterfield". It's chorus makes me smile:

She's a big lass an' a bonny one,
An' she likes her beer;
An, they call her Cushy Butterfield,
An' aw wish she was here

The descriptive words "big" and "bonny" took me back to my St Helens childhood when they were interchangeable in my family

Bonny in Scotland means beautiful
Bonny here means rotund
