Hi Dave, I was aware that the forum was up and running again and just gotten round to signing up.
I been doing a few things and keeping busy with life. I hope retirement is treating you well. I doubt I'll ever experience it
Did you miss the time you had running a forum? I hope you managed to salvage any interesting and educational data from th old site. I enjoyed the old photographs of St Helens, with me being an outsider lol.
Yeah, I'll put some of the old things back on eventually. It's a case of reworking the old scripts so they'll be compatible. Most things have been on hold due to not being able to concentrate on them due to problems with my mum's old age. I can write and vent as usual, but delving into code presents a distinct challenge. She's getting a bit better now, but it's been a horrible few weeks.
Thanks Alan, it's for a couple of charities, Eye Care For Africa and Glaucoma New Zealand. Will be doing a You Tube on it too. Unfortunately it's a bit longer that just June and will be around 10 weeks. Did the New Zealand equivalent in 2023 and it was a bloody amazing experience. Thanks for your interest!

Singe, are you passing through Bodmin? It may be a near miss but we get back mid June. Give you a waive and contribution. Let me know time and route.
That would be amazing, Bert! I'll be starting on the south-west coastal pathway (looking likely to be around 5th June) and I reckon Padstow will be the closest - probably about 10-15 miles away, I'm guessing. Would be great to have a coffee together!
Hi Singe, unfortunately we get back from Cyprus on the 15th of June. My email is [email protected]. Let me know how to donate to your charities. I'm still struggling to get round this site; apologies if I've already posted this message.
