Tommorrow Thursday is actual VE Day and the Lamb Inn in town is providing pints for 7p, according to the Star.

I'm four years younger than you Bert and I was just 3 at the time so my memory is very vague but I do remember the women nattering outside 77 'arris St and my mum saying my Dad was in India and it'd be quite a while before he got home
