Forums
The site is mainly forum based and we hope that you'll find interest in some of its sections. Membership is free, but to encourage participation some of the forums or areas require members to post at least one message before access is granted to some of the forums or features.
Local and Family History in St Helens
This was the original name of the site when we started in May 2001. There are forums where you can post about your interests and you can leave requests for lookups from published data. We also have quite a few indexes and documents that you can download directly from the site, including: Census indexes covering years 1841, 1851, 1861, 1871, 1891 and 1901, transcriptions of old trade directories, parish records, other documents, and our St Helens Timeline. We have some good topics and articles about local history in general
Lively Discussions and Debates
People in (or people with interests in) St Helens often have much to say about anything and everything. In our community based forums you can do just that! Post and reply to topics, post pictures, videos (via Youtube or Google), reviews and jokes, talk about the local rugby team (or rugby in general).
Other Features
St Helens Connected - find contacts or talk about your memories in St Helens. Links directories - link to your own or your favourite sites. Lots of old photographs and a games arcade that's up there with the best!
