Hi just addidng a few bits--used to catch the murrays coach at garage--went to Colwyn Bay.Also other trips around--halfway houses near penwortham and on way near queensferry??
eckersleys coaches as well.grandparents also used them as well.how did we manage without loos on the coaches!!!!If anyone goes through prestatyn and goes through the cross roads in centre. If you look to right as you go through crossraods and see the semi we used to lodge at second house for many years.Dont know whether its still there--the little funfair on corner of road that goes to beach.I have a foto of me resplendant on beach wearing my SNAKE BELT!!!.I know the old skating rink further down has been gone for many years and is now a supermatket--Fond memories.

I bet your parents used to walk you to Dyserth waterfall too. It was always a must-visit trip every time we went to stay in Prestatyn

went to the 1967 championship final at headingley with gavin murrays, we got into the ground 10 minutes before the end after a grand tour of the sports stadia in leeds, and to cap it all the game ended in an almighty thunderstorm and a 7-7 draw.

The Rose & Crown was a favorite half way stop for coaches going to Blackpool, also the Black Horse not very far away.

We still went to the Black Horse in the middle 70s for meals, untill it change hands and it was never the same,so we moved on.
