I have been able to trace TRAVIES in the St Helens area back to the early 1800's. Often in records the 'e' is missed from the surname and this makes it tricky to research.

Here are some of them John TRAVIES b.1873 St Helens
Joseph TRAVIES b.1844 Eccleston
John TRAVIES b. approx 1820

Anyone who can help?
