That particular pile looks as though somebody has been doing up a girl's bedroom - pink bed, pieces of wallpaper, an old carpet etc. The cost of cleaning that little lot should be added to their own personal Council Tax Bill if it's ever discovered who's responsible!

It has been reported to the Council so it may be gone in a few days.
I drive past it 2 or 3 times a day so decided to take a picture to show people what some people think of their Countryside.
There is a Free Council Tip less than 2 miles in either direction One in St Helens and One in Widnes so there is absolutely no excuse.
Someone must have used a Van or Pick up truck to transport that lot, pity they cant install a camera to get a regristration number.

Apparently Finger house lane was the original name before Sutton Manor Colliery was built and the Lane curved at the railway bridge and came out near where the Colliery gates are now,.You may remember part of it remained as the road leading to Billy Fenneys Farm
It was blocked off to accomodate the Colliery and a new Lane called Union Bank Lane was constucted which joined FingerHouse Lane at the Bridge and came out at Jubitts Lane.
Hope this helps Devon Boy

It seems to be listed as Bold or Widnes.
