Many of you will know that I have written four novels based broadly on St Helens and inspired by the old saying about work "They could write a book about this place. It would be a best seller."
The fourth in the series is called One Autumn and came out in 2007. Since then I have slowly been gathering material and thinking about writing another novel. Well after seeing Langtree Park a couple of weeks ago for the first time,I decided that was enough to inspire me to get started. I haven't decided on a title yet but what I do know is that it will be again set in the fictional town of Ashurst, full of humour and sometime in the first few years of the 21st century.

Good on you Geoff. There's no way I could write a novel but I'm thinking of writing another factual history to follow up Border City Blues. Maybe more industry related rather than Rugby League

I'm looking forward to Knowsley Road Schoolboy's (aka Geoff Lee's) fifth and latest new book and hoping it'll inspire me to write my second one. I've decided to retire on my 70th birthday later this year so the book will keep me busy over the winter

Here's Knowsley Road Schoolby, Geoff Lee's website http://www.geofflee.net/

If you give me your full name and address by PM, Ive still got a small stock here marked down to £10 inc p&p to compete with Amazon etc - all proceeds go to Junior RL development in Carlisle
