There is no undersoil heating at the New Stadium.
It is not needed with Summer RugbyPosted Image

Hi vinty.the reason I asked was to envisage its usage over winter when say footy etc would be poss looking for venues.Does anyone think this was a bit of a booboo if they are trying to make the stadium pay?

Probably not enough money in the Kitty to pay for undersoil heating nsso they have had to get a cash injection from a director to help finance what we have got.

Remember when they used to get the council to bring out braziers!!and all those willing hands to clear the terraces.

When they asked for volunteers to get to the ground with a shovel to clear the pitch so that they could get the game on and they had loads of oil drum braziers all over the pitch.
That was in the days before Health&Safety was heard of,
The police inspector stood on the centre line on the popular side waving his stick to the crowd beckoning them to move to the centre so they could pack more in
