in taking a drugs test????

this tw*t really gets on my nerves always taking the moral high ground when he was told by his manager to miss a drugs test because he knew he would fail it due to the fact that he had been snorting coke. and a 9 month ban was better than a 2 year ban,

that said terry should never have been re-instated, as alan shearer said on match of the day, a captain should lead by example on the pitch, and the only player that can do that is steven gerrard.

It seems to me nowadays that folk spend more time debating what goes on off the pitch than on it !

The racist issue aside,we have seen the John Terry - Wayne Bridge scandal. Ditto Ryan Giggs, Wayne Rooney and his new hairstyle. As previously mentioned the Steven Gerard assault case,Mario Ballotelli and his fireworks,Carlos Tevez refusal to play ball, the recent Tax evasion court case etc;etc;

Football......you can shove it as far as I'm concerned. And as for John Terry,he's perhaps the most odious "personality" in modern sport.

Captain of England ? You're 'avin a larf mate.

Add that childish and petulant Suarez incident into the mix and you have just about everything that's wrong with what used to be an honourable sport

if you cant honour your fellow man,you are not fit to lead your country out onto the park,
there are quite afew players these days who shouldnt be considered ,too many of the
players today that badge on the England shirt comes second to the unearned large pay check.

Gangad has hit the nail on the head here. Terry has not not been found guilty of anything criminal in relation to this issue.

Under English law he is currently an INNOCENT man.

Next we have the ridicuous FA taking away the captains job of an INNOCENT man, but still ALLOWING him to play for the team.

How ridiculous is that - its positively perverse.

The FA are shite. The above proves it. Captaincy comes a very poor second to playing. The FA once again have shown their true colours and they are not England colours. In England you are innocent til proven Guilty.

Yes but under employment law Terry's employer would be entitled, indeed expected, to suspend him whilst the allegations were investigated.
