Sky Sports have decided they are going to show some superleague matches on a monday night instead of saturdays. What do others think of this .Personally it seems to me the supporters come last again

Personally I think this is a disaster for the game.
It might just get a few more viewers watching the games on Sky,but this will be off set by the lack of fans willing to travel to matches - say over the pennines after the first day back at work.
I forecast that attendances at these games will be well below those corresponding fixtures of previous seasons. But lets face facts,if Sky can dictate [when they are playing] to the likes of Man Utd etc ; they will walk all over the game of rugby league without giving those fans and clubs a second thought. Though they do pay football an enormously greater amount of money than they do to RL !

Come on this is chicken feed to what tv did years ago.
My mates who supported widnes had a MIDDAY match at Hull on a Saturday in winter. Some also had to trek across the Pennines for an evening match.
I know it wont be in my lifetime but a worry that RL is likely to go like footy/cricket with different matches in different competitions.I lose track of the various rules-away goals, penalty shootouts, its the same with cricket and its various competitions.
Anything else they can do to kill sport-eh?
