RL returns to TV this weekend. I know it's only three months since the last game but it seems like three years. I'd even taken to watching soccer on Sky

No disrespect to HJ but i thought Sky would have started with a better game.Don`t get me wrong it could end up a cracker but on paper it is not a headline grabber

Hi HJ the thinking behind my post was that the RL and Sky want to promote the game as a spectacle .they should have kicked off with a big game to grab the viewer by the proverbials and said thats what you can expect in our game.Dont get me wrong i hope it is a belter and that Widnes do well(Dont want them yorkies winning owt) i just think it should have been better thought out.

Looked a very slippy surface, can't see it lasting more than one season.

Great win for Saints, but they did leave it late.
