do any of you codgers remember the youth club dances.
resident band,drums,piano,accordions,sometimes sax,
it used to be held in the girls school hall,

R I P to all my friends of 1947/8/9 there dosnt seem to be anyone left
i hope this is not so and the lack of replies is just that they are not on connect,
if those of you who are know anyone of this area and era ask them to give me a shout,

Hi Skyman/ how can you be on your own I'm still here( I'm sure) still batting, In the era I was at Grange Park 43- 46 the

items you've mentioned I cant recollect, apart from many of the teachers names.

I did return to work there in 1984-1991 when it was amalgamated with Rivington, then found another area of work.

I must admit that I am surprised at the lack of response on connect to the whole time that the school was opened but

as you say not everyone is on line and if they are possibly not heard of connect, pity, still one can only hope. cheers/.

HI JINX. the period 1947/8/9 was the years i played in the band. i went to grange park after nutgrove school,i left the school in 1945 so we must have been there at the same time,
