I have recently found that a relative not uncommonly was a servant.She served residents in what is called CLIFTON TERRACE.I beleive this is the large terrace stretching from Dunriding Lane towards Toll Bar.When looking at the census info there are also some well established homes along Prescot Road.
This seems to me to have been a well heeled area even though only small.
I know there are also some large houses within the locality around Taylor Park.Does anyone have any interersting facts for Clifton Terrace itself or any of the "villas" within that locality.
