I think Seddons had a bakery as well - it was situated where the garage is now in St Helens Road opposite Grovenor Road

I of course remember Fyldes and Berry - the Berry was my Auntie Nell (Ellen)
I had a Saturday and school holiday job there - the pies were good but my favourite was the staff lunch
- once all the baking was finished a tray of bacon would go into the ovens and we would have bacon butties with still warm bread!
