Thank you for reading.
My great grandfather was James Kinder (1878-1916) married Selena Heyes (1881-1951) they had 7 children; Sarah, Hannah, Ralph,Maggie, Robert (Bob) my grandfather (1906-1969), James and Edward.
I think James had some brothers, Richard, William, Alfred, Thomas and Isaac? (First three, lost during the Great War along with my great grandfather, Thomas (was blinded?) and Isaac both survived the war.
I am looking for any information relating to my relatives either dead or living.
I believe there are still some Kinders in St Helens, but am unsure of a connection?
Regards,
Paul Hartley

ps My grandfather Robert (Bob) served in WW2, was captured in Greece and spent 5 years in Stalag 313, Hoenfells, Bavaria. He ended up settling in Weymouth, Dorset with Mildred and had a family; Robert, Angela, Norma Jean, Annette and Ian Kinder. I believe he was a musician, Brass, and possibly played in St Helens, before moving South where he ended up playing for the Durnovaria Brass Band in Dorset circa 1950's possibly 60's?
He sadly passed away when I was a baby.
