Stunning pictures Oy, I hope you don't mind but I'm using the robin as my christmas wallpaper on my works computer. If anyone asks where it's from I'll certainly tell them

Fantastic Pics, as I said before they would make a brilliant callendar Have you any objection to us using them Oy, with the proper acknowledgement of course.

Sure can...

For these duckies I used my Nikon D700 with Nikon 70-200mm F2.8 VR lens.

I underexposed by about a stop to control the harsh lighting and bring out the detail.

For the ducks I was lying full length on the floor in the goose poop to get the low angle.

I think a VR lens is next on my list for the D40x, I tried one out and compared it to my standard 18-55 without VR, the difference was fantastic. Saves me lumping a tripod about with me anyway.

LOL - thanks - I think :)

We once went for Dinner with some friends of ours. The lady of the house is a bit of a whizz in the kitchen and cooked us a really nice meal. Chatting afterwards she said that she'd seen some of my photos and that I must have a really good camera!

I said " Thanks, and that was a really nice meal we just had - you must have some really good pots and pans!"
