I remember being in the Ravenhead cubs, just cant think of the No of the pack.

The necker chief was all yellow with a red border.

A few years ago I came across a leather toggle given to me by Mrs Fairhurst the cub mistress some where in the house.

Hi Hort ,I am aware of the no shouting rule, ive had my eyes quite a while now and i like capitals
i assume you fogot to add an lol at the end of your comment or maybe you were realy telling me off.
in which case Capitals in your comment would have been in order ,so if your remark was meant as a joke
without the lol , ,forgive my response ,but if you were throwing rank,,,( awaiting comment ) LOL

Skyman, I would have thought it was abviously meant as a joke with only an underlying hidden ticking off.

Anyway getting back on topic - I never went into Scouts. Everytime I saw some Scouts in short pants, someone would shout, "Polish your knees."

This put me off for life.

I used to love watching The Gang Show on telly. In the days of only 2 channels, it was one of those things that you always looked forward to - like the Royal Variety Show.
