Ooooh, thanks for that link Ollie. What lovely memories, we went all around those lochs and everywhere was just so beautiful.

Ollie, Sorry, I only just saw this thread, (my computer was broke at that time).
Lovely Photos, Lovely place, I think I've been up that way, but will have to
look if I still have any photos from then. Won't be as good as yours though!

Thanks Phyll - we've booked again for later this year - first two weeks in September. The days are still reasonably long, but the place will have quietened down from the main summer visitors. Scottish school kids go back during August - which means that the site is v-e-r-y quiet by then - that's when we have a better chance of seeing any wildlife. The added bonus is that the midgies will have mostly died off as well - one aspect of wildlife that I don't want to encounter 
!
