All over the country there are pubs where owners can go for a pint and a bite and take with them their well behaved Dog
Usuall you are now restricted to say the bar area etc
Are there pubs in the St Helens area that still let dogs in.
(If not in these trying times they could be missing a trick)
We have just returned from the Swan at Burscough where we had an excellent meal and we where allowed to take our little dog into a room set aside for this purpose.
The rest of the pub was dog free no one minding the room set aside for poochies and their owners and the whole pub was packed

i've seen quite a few dogs in pubs in my life.............................the market, sefton, nelson. and any others in the town centre.

seriously though i love going out into the country with my hound and always look for a dog friendly pub to have a bite to eat and a drink. most country pubs are very accomodating.

I don't know about pubs cause we didn't try them but when we were on holiday in the Lake District last year we were amazed at how many shops had a dogs welcome sign on their windows.

Kizzy, I'd rather have my well-behaved dog in the dining room than a lot of two-legs I've had the misfortune to dine in the same room with.
