Does anyone remember a t.v. cartoon character from the 50's called Hank? He was a Mexican and a dead ringer for one of Metcalffe's milkmen. Posted Image

Loved the early puppet ones, four feathered falls/stingray/fireball xl5/supercar/thunderbirds etc.Gerry Anderson was a pioneer and he probably led the way for all the computer generated films we have today. As an aside can anybody tell me what connects the early James Bond films to Stingray?ps i do know the answer. Also who provided the voice to lady penelope in thunderbirds?and lastly which popstar sang a song in one of the above series?

Hi gilly - Lois Maxwell (Miss Moneypenny in James Bond films) did the voice for Troy Tempest's girlfriend, Atlanta. Gerry Anderson's wife (Sylvia) provided the voice for Lady Penelope. Not sure if this is what you mean but, in the film 'Thunderbirds Are Go!' (mid 60's), Cliff Richard and The Shadows sang a song. I remember having to take my younger brother to see that - think it was probably around 1966.

Wow what a memory walk, loved Richard Green Robin Hood, William Tell, Stingray Supercar, Joe 90, Loved Whacko and Billy Bunter, The Lone Ranger, what about Skippy the bush Kangaroo, no offence to our skippy on connect. Loved that also Flipper used to cry buckets when flipper got hurt and lassie, Loved four feather falls. Oh there were so many good childrens programmes on, then it is a shame for the kids now. they get the special effects but not much substance .

Thanks for the memories. Love them all. Also Quatermass and the twilight zone scared the pants of me and what was the other one that used to be on with really scary sci fi stories can anyone remember. What was the one called with the creepy hand that walked metaphoricaly across the floor toward its vicitims watched that one from behind a pillow

LOL well, Swimmer, I suspect the one with the hand was based on an Edgar Allan Poe story, but was the regular series you're thinking of Outer Limits ???
