Hope someone who is as old as me can help.
I have been trying all day to think about a TV series which was on TV many years ago. Try as I might I just can't think what it was called.
I am pretty sure the couple were on their honeymoon and they spent it wandering all over the Holy Land.
Can anyone remember what it was called please?

You are welcome Mal Posted Image

No, I think I would know it if I heard it but it wasn't them. It was so long ago that I think it would have been on the BBC.

Thanks Ollie !!! Posted Image ...that was it...Journey of a Lifetime. I honestly thought it was much earlier than that but it was in 1961 and I think it said on ITV.

John Bonney, I don't know why I didn't associate him with the programme when I was thinking so much about it. I used to love him in all the shows he was in. Thanks again Ollie :-)

TL...that is a fantastic site, mainly American shows but we watched so many of them. Good that you can click on them and see the cast and some trivia.
Thanks TL Posted Image

Those family programmes where the men always wore tights (Robin Hood, William Tell, Ivanhoe, The Buccaneers, Sir Lancelot etc) were my favourites too, tessmop Posted Image.

For years I had a 'real thing' for Richard Greene and Conrad Phillips - must have only been around 10-14yrs old, but I didn't half go for those 'older men' with great thighs :bigwink:.

Ollie, I felt the same about Richard Greene and (I can't remember how!) got an original signed picture from him. I carried it in my school satchel until it was found and I was given rather a bad time over it  you know, I think I still have it somewhere?
