Buggar I'd forgotten the dolly tub. But gotcha!- you've missed out the 'dolly cream'. I think elf 'n' safety would have summat to say about that washing machine, the plug looks like a 2 pin job, no earth!

Hi tessmop
Most terraced houses up to the 30s had a coal fired boiler and a brown Slop stone as shown in the third pic..

You don't see babies left in prams outside shops any more - the young mums seem to struggle to supermarkets and use those trolleys with baby seats attached. They don't even have 'safe storage' for buggies/prams unless you use a shop where there's 'trolley storage' by a cafe area. Our ASDA have just had theirs removed, so there's nowhere to leave you shopping or pram.
My Auntie left her son outside Woolies whilst she went shopping then went home, calling at my Mum's for a cuppa .... it was only then that she realised her baby was still outsdie the shop in Church St!!!!!! He was still there when she got the next bus back into town ... the baby's now 40+ and not too badly scarred for the experience!!!!

Going back to what people do - some things are slow to change, i had a neighbour I never saw WITHOUT rollers in her hair and a scarf over. Last time was about 3 years ago, and here in Canada.
