Hi my family Pennington grandmothers maiden name was Elizabeth Woodward of Prescot born 1877/1878 has anyone any information please? they lived in Moxon Street anyone know location? strong connections with St Mary;s parish church.

my mums maiden name was Pennington.As far as I know they came from the newtown area,so Moxon street isnt that far.Would that Marianglas be the one in Anglesey?

Welcome to St Helens Connect. I have found a marriage for Charles Pennington and Elizabeth Woodward registered in Prescot Q3 1908. Would this be yours ?

On 1881 census living at 3 Moxon St. daughter of Thomas & Jane
1891 census living at 2 Moxon St.
1901 still at 2 Moxon St.
1911 at 115 Cooper St. St.Helens
If you want any more info eg family members or earlier censuses just ask.
If this is her, marriage to Charles Pennington 3rd August 1908 at Sacred Heart RC
