I think wind will be the least of the problems at the new stadium

Don't know if any of you have seen the footbridge lit up at night, both the platform and the arch, which looked brilliant, well I was told by a reliable source last night that the Council, seeming to be getting it right for once are going to have it lit up in Green for St Patrick's day, Blue for St Andrews day and Red and White for St Georges day, and for all the home games it will be red and white.Posted Image

Dont want to go down the safety factor but no one has yet brought up the subject of people standing in the seating areas.!!!!
I wonder what fans think about this issue even though we have not yet had any matches yet.
Havnt seen the stadium seating plans etc --are there any restricted views.

If you want to stand up go in the West stand, it's terracing, and there are absolutely no restricted views, unless your in the toilet when they score lol

No one has mentioned how big the trophy cupboard is!!!!Also will they be selling pimmies pies??could save a bit of money by putting a charge on toilets--of course will do if ryannair are one of our sponsors.

Hi TL, yes I think I have mentioned it on another thread. The bridge looked great over Christmas it was lit up with rainbow colours which fascinated the grandkids. I haven't seen it that colour since Christmas it has remained stable red and white, It looks great and is a good way of advertising the stadium and the match day. I think that the councils idea for lighting on significant days is a great one, and will not detract from our fabulous new stadium.

At the moment the bridge alternates red and white from side to side. This is done because they have a row of green blue and red lights along either side of the bridge. When all three colours are lit it reflects white, and when the green and blue go out it reflects red
