Hi Bee I would just like to say welcome to connect, though I can't help you on your quest I am sure that there will be someone who can.
If you can give a bit more info, like when your mother's birth year was so people will have an idea of the period of time.
Oh and another thing you shouldn't really post your e.mail address on here. If someone wants to get in touch with you they will send you a PM
Good Luck

Hi Bee, Posted Image to Connect.
As Eejayess says, you would need to give us more info.,
such as your Mothers name and date of birth to help you.
Not sure if you are looking for Genealogical info. which is
what most people on here do, unless you get lucky and
someone knows this family from that area.

Just found a Miriam Byatt living at 250 Ramford Street, Parr in 1901.

Rest of Family listed are:-

John Byatt. Head, Age 37 Coal Hewer
Jane Byatt. Wife, Age 33
Selina Byatt. Daughter, Age 8
Miriam Byatt. Daughter, Age 7
John Byatt. Son, Age 5
Edward Byatt. Son, Age 2
George Byatt. Son, Age 5 Months

On 1911 census Miriam age 17 is living with Moxon family as a Domestic servant in Blackburn, and her family were living at 63 Ramford St.

Also on 1911 census I could only find 2 families by the name of Smeltzer, one in North Rd. and the other Windleshaw Rd.

Marriage for Miriam Byatt to William O Parry Q2 1916 West Derby

Dick Smeltzer and his family (including a daughter Audrey) lived at the high numbers end of Lingholme Road in 50/60/70's, as I know of. He was a good friend of my dad and loved his vintage cars.
