Bate family (liked to live on Duke Street)

Hi

I found a bible at my grandmothers house with a list of names and dates in which could be family members - my grandma doesn't know any surnames apart from her mothers and fathers.

I'm pretty sure that a few of them lived in several houses on Duke Street in St Helens although I'm not 100%.

The names are;

Thomas Bate died December 8th 1846
Jane Bate born October 6th 1818
Mathew Bate born April 8th 1839 died March 22 1843
Samuel Bate born November 3rd or 31st (I can't read the writing) 1840 died May 15th 1841 (I think he is the cousin of the other children although again not 100%)
Peter Bate born March 22nd 1842
Elizabeth Bate born March 14th 1844
Mathew Bate born August 9th 1846

If any body knows anything about these people please let me know - or if your also researching them I can give you any info I have (which isn't a lot but I'm getting there slowly)
