The Keys were handed over yesterday Gazza, I believe loads of people have been complaining about the lack of cladding on the corner of the Peasley Cross end, saying it looks terrible, actually the reason it's like that is to let the wind blow straight through the stadium, no bad jokes please, otherwise you could all end up on top of Billinge LumpPosted Image .

The cladding issue has been going on for ages, but it will be done by the time next season starts

I have bought a OAP season ticket for the North Stand and it only cost £ 180 so thats less than £ 14 a match

Just a few observations from my lunch break walk around. I don't think they've surveyed the average size of Saints supporters, because the turnstiles are not very generous. The shutters at the turnstiles need to be part way down on matchdays because the height of the turnstiles means anybody with a bit of energy could easily get over the top of them.
Leaving work in the dark tonight revealed the reception desk with it's illuminated Saints logo on the front. Very Classy

Apparently there is state of the art cctv which also covers the turnstiles. According to red vee the walkway should be in place now. It's looking good!

I'll be going next season, new stadium looks fantastic, but it will be a pick and choose job, the season ticket prices are way above my budget and to be honest if it isnt a "big" game like saints v wigan/leeds etc it's not usually worth forking out for, deffo not worth £20+ that it will be priced at and will have zero atmosphere due to the crowd being so far back from the pitch now.

We went past the stadium the other day, my husband quite often takes a detour from when we are going to our to see our grandkids, just to look at the stadium. Comments range from how awesome is that, what a great stadium, about time, some derogatory comments about the gents, or lack of at Knowsley road. Coming home the other night I have to admitt our stadium is very impressive as the lights were on and formed a halo surrounding the stadium. It looked fantastic.

Cracking amateur video of the new stadium on red vee now. Brought a tear to my eye.
