Just watched it on the Super League show.
Wire were magnificent and even Saints couldn't have lived with them today.
I hope they win against Hull on Friday to take the hubcap.
Which would also mean we get Wigan in the play offs.

Just a note about the thug Hock. Not satisfied with trying to gouge eyes out he then followed it with an uppercut.
A very long ban I hope.

Wigan resorted to foul play because they were made to look ordinary by Warrington and just could'nt cope.
Smith got his tactics spot on Blitz them early rack up some points and then tackle them out of the game.
Wigan made error after error and seemed to have lost confidence...

Would hope theres a ban coming Lima's way for using Matt King's hair in a tackle.

For once , unusually, the referee actually blew up for some early Wigan offences. With that and the power of the Wires pack, the tables were turned. The Hock incident was clearly visible, the fingers in the eyes before the punch was thrown. Yes he did get an elbow to the chin but that was a nice way of saying get your fingers out of my eyes.

As always the referree is the most important person on the field. Those decisions which he doesn't give are just as important as those that he does. Game changers all of them.

What i find strange is Shaun Wain being allowed to speak to the referee during the interval,Whatever was said first tackle after the restar was one of the worst holding downs in the game but went unpunished Lima actually asked the ref to look on the screen to see he hadn`t fouled If he had he would have seen the hair pulling ,

For me Hock should be banned he could have blinded him. It was deliberate there was no stray finger it was a gouge and he should have been walked off the pitch there and then. Let us hope that there will be someone on the panel who will say enough is enough and throw the book at him.

He will probably get a one match ban,So he will leave his team mates to struggle with the mighty crusaders,Back for the playoffs.

Lima and Tomkins given cautions about their actions.Hock charged with gouging which carries a 4-8 match ban and also striking which can also carry a one match ban.

Hope he gets the maximum.

More or less what he deserves,Personally i would have given him the maximum eight for the gouging (a cowardly attack no matter who he plays for)

I agree with you gangad, it seems totally wrong to me that anyone should deliberately go out to damage someones eyes and he did that. I still think that he should have been given the maximum if not banned, what will it take before the RL board do something and give a verdict that takes the offence into consideration, not just who, and what team they are from. There should be one mandatory ban for such an offence, taking nothing into consideration other than the offence itself.
