Hello,

Is anybody related to John Vose, born 1856? He was married to Elisabeth Vose, children William (1875), John (1877), Ann (1879), James (1891), Agnes (1893), Teresa (1894), Frederick (1896).

He owned a Confectionery business (Vose's Toffee??) and I am mainly interested in the factory (?) he had in Newcastle and sold to Maynards at the turn of the century. He retired and returned to Lancashire, some of his children stayed in Newcastle. He died in 39, maybe there's a chance of an old family photograph, or documents related to his business?

I would be most grateful for any help!

Thanks in advance
Silvie Fisch
